THE BALTIC REED EVENT - SEE THE RECORDING!

On February 7th 2024, the Baltic Reed project invited the public to an event in Stockholm.

Now you can watch the recording from the event. We have also uploaded the presentations from the day, with time indications to the recording in the programme, which you can find a bit further down on the page.

Baltic Reed is a three-year project implemented in Finland, Ã…land and Sweden and financed by the Interreg Central Baltic Programme. Read more on the project's website BalticReed - Central Baltic.

The objective of the Baltic Reed project is to recycle nutrients from eutrophicated coastal waters of the Baltic Sea to land by harvesting common reed. At the same time, the project promotes the sustainable utilisation of reed biomass as a raw material for diverse purposes. In this event, project partners together with external experts will present commercial solutions for reed, innovative harvest methods and the ecological impact of reed harvesting.
