Production: Significant advancements in collaboration with our main partner

Formal agreement with our main partner
We have had a major development with our main partner in Poland – a fertilizer producer - as we signed a formal framework agreement. Now we can start a full-fledged collaboration in areas concerning phosphorus emission prevention measures. As a result, in September 2023 we paid a visit to the company for a meeting on future project planning. We also took significant steps towards signing agreements on installing fertilizer spillage prevention measures in their port terminal.

Collaboration with fertilizer producer and seaport operator in north-western Poland
We developed and negotiated agreements with regards to prevention covers and other cleaning measures in two port terminals located in north-western Poland. We will finalize the negotiation processes shortly, ensuring that both the covers and the additional measures will be implemented within the next few months.

Developing cooperation with experts
In Q3 2023, we engaged with experts in phosphorus emission reduction within fertilizer production. Our meetings were productive, allowing for a valuable exchange of experiences and knowledge. We've made significant progresses and are ready to collaborate with them as we commence the project with our main partner.

Conferences
Race For The Baltic was represented at the Baltic Sea Science Congress in Helsinki where important aspects of eutrophication and climate change in the Baltic Sea region were discussed. The Congress created an excellent environment for networking and discussions regarding the future of the Baltic Sea.
