Members in focus at next Club event

It’s time to get excited about the next City Accelerator Club event. We at Race For The Baltic are now planning for the Club’s digital gathering, taking place this fall. This event will focus on funding possibilities, municipalities’ ongoing projects and crunching the data of possible solutions. Municipalities from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland and Lithuania have been invited to listen in to topics and solutions regarding eutrophication in the Baltic Sea the 26-27th of October.

This fall, we have asked several Club members to be the focus of the City Accelerator. Katrineholm municipality are confirmed to present about their projects on wetlands.

At the last gathering, the Club members were asked to send in data from their previous, ongoing and planned water management projects. This data has now been analyzed and finalized by Adam Fast who has conducted his internship within the master programme of Environmental Communication and Management at Race For The Baltic. Interesting conclusions from his data analysis will be presented during this fall event.

This meeting will be another excellent opportunity to learn about solutions against eutrophication, exchange experiences and chat with other friends of the Baltic Sea. If you are a municipality that finds this network interesting, please contact Julia Gerlach at julia@raceforthebaltic.com for more information.
