We are proud and grateful to continue our long-term collaboration with Apotea, working together to support practical solutions for a healthier Baltic Sea. This summer, the collaboration moves forward in several concrete ways — from reed harvesting in the field to customer engagement and support through circular products.

Thanks to Apotea’s support, accelerated reed harvesting and innovation activities will move forward this summer, helping to restore overgrown coastal areas while removing nutrients from the marine environment. During August around 10 hectares and 100 tonnes of reed biomass will be harvested in Östegötland, together with RAWS Sweden. This is estimated to remove approximately 100 kg of phosphorus and 1000 kg of nitrogen, while also supporting biodiversity and creating opportunities for circular use of the harvested reed.

During week 30, 20–26 July, Apotea customers will also be able to round up their purchases in support of Race For The Baltic and our practical work to restore coastal meadows around the Baltic Sea. Every rounded-up crown helps us continue hands-on environmental action and scale solutions that create real impact.

Apotea also supports Race For The Baltic through AUSTRE, a Swedish vegan skincare brand inspired by Nordic nature and local ingredients. For every AUSTRE product sold, Apotea donates to our work for a healthier Baltic Sea.
