We have deepened the collaboration with our main partner – a large fertilizer producer in Poland. Site visits were conducted to construct prevention covers at the quayside, and a cooperation agreement is expected to be finalised soon. We also progressed in collaboration with other medium-sized partners in north-western Poland, where discussions on various solutions took place. Additionally, we organised a presentation of two cleaning machines designed for seaport terminals, both worked exceptionally well and will make it easier to collect and remove any residues that may leak onto the quay during loading and unloading.

Advancements with our main partner

We have a steady progress of cooperation with our main partner. We organised several site visits with the aim of constructing prevention covers at the quayside. We have engaged a constructor who will design covers for the seaport terminal. Apart from that, we also made a significant step towards a cooperation agreement which should come into force soon.

Stronger collaboration with fertilizer producer and seaport operator in north-western Poland

In the second quarter of 2023 we held meetings and site visits at a medium size phosphate fertilizer producer and seaport operator in Poland where we progressed our discussion on various solutions. We have also visited their quayside with the constructor of prevention cover, which we plan to install at their quayside.

Cleaning machine demonstration

In June together with Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne "Police" S.A. we organised a presentation of two cleaning machines designed for seaport terminals. The machine demonstration took place at Sea Port Police and was attended by representatives of sea-port terminals and fertilizer producers: Sea Port Police, FOSFAN S.A. and Baltic Stevedoring Company. Both machines produced by Pronar and Bobcat Company (delivered by its distributor - Bujak Maszyny) worked extremely well on the quayside so there is a large chance that machines will be soon in use in terminals.

Conferences

In June we attended two large maritime conferences in Poland: Congress Polish Ports 2030 in Sopot and International Maritime Congress in Szczecin where we met our partners: fertilizer producers and seaport terminals. During these events we also made some new connections which will be useful in our future work.
