We are now looking for a Communications Intern who wants to be part of our journey during spring 2026. Your role will be to work together with our Communication Director and project managers in international projects working for a healthier Baltic Sea.

What will I do and learn during the internship?

As an intern at Race For The Baltic (RFTB), you will support the team in daily tasks. We are a small, close-knit team working on projects across various areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and publish content for RFTB’s SoMe such as Linkedin and Facebook, as well as newsletter and website.

  • Create content for prints, folders etc.

  • Get the opportunity to analyse and evaluate results to optimise content and strategies.

  • Provide communication support to project managers on topics related to specific projects.

  • During the internship period, there will also be room to test other tasks within communication, marketing, events, etc., to make RFTB’s brand visible to relevant target groups.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Relevant ongoing education, for example in communication, media or similar relevant education

  • Bachelor's level students are the minimum requirement.

  • The opportunity to complete the internship within the scope of your studies.

  • Fluency in Swedish is required, proficiency in English is required. Fluency in either Polish, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian is a plus.

  • Previous experience or knowledge of SoMe

Skills

  • We believe you are a self-driven, detail-oriented person with a cooperative and creative mindset.

  • A good understanding of and interest in sustainability issues gained through studies, previous work, or personal involvement.

  • Experience in InDesign, Photoshop or similar

  • Comfortable in PowerPoint and Excel is necessary.

Internship Period: Spring 2026, for a full-term internship (30 credits) or half-term (15 credits).

Workplace: Our team is based at iOffice in central Stockholm. There is some flexibility for remote work.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship and should be undertaken as part of your studies.
