International meeting with municipalities surrounding the Baltic Sea

It is time for the Baltic Sea City Accelerator Club (BSCAC) to meet again, on the 26-28th of April in Helsinki! The Club meetings provide a platform for municipalities from the Baltic Sea States to collaborate in accelerating change within sustainable management of local waters. Our upcoming meeting will gather representatives from ten municipalities in Finland, Lithuania and Sweden.

In Q1 we have been organizing the BSCAC's next event together with @the Baltic Sea Challenge. After having several online events due to the pandemic, we are very excited to finally meet altogether.

The programme takes part over three days and consists of two hands-on workshops, several interesting speakers and two field trips. The Club will get the opportunity to visit a local farmer and deep dive in agricultural measures, exchange knowledge in a workshop about nutrient calculation and recirculation, extend knowledge about the SDGs and how to work with them, and explore a modern urban wetland in central Helsinki. See the whole program here.

We are looking forward to great discussions about local measures against eutrophication and most of all, to meet each other again in person!
