Baltic Sea Solutions Lab was organised by Race For The Baltic and was attended by over 90 participants represented by:
entrepreneurs developing “blue-green” solutions in sectors ranging from aquaculture and agtech to renewable energy, wastewater treatment and sensor data management
local authorities representing cities and municipalities from countries across the Baltic Sea Region including Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden
scientists, among others, from the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm Environment Institute, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and Uppsala University
representatives from local and regional non-governmental organisations
individuals working in public and private sector financial institutions
Over the course of one and a half days, in a format that included a series of lightning talks, panel discussions and facilitated workshops, the Baltic Sea Solutions Lab aimed to break new ground and move forward beyond problems to accelerating solutions that will improve the state of the Baltic Sea.
Thank you to the Swedish Institute for providing financial support for the project.
